During summertime, we love pouring ourselves something delicious and refreshing at the end of the day. We don't always love the side effects that come with wine, beer, or a traditional cocktail, so we've been experimenting with alternative CBD Cocktails - and Mocktails! It's the perfect way to get the benefits of CBD through fresh and healthy CBD drinks.
Here is one of our favorite CBD drinks this summer:
- Muddle a few fresh mint leaves and lime.
- Add your favorite summer fruit - this one includes blueberries, raspberries, and pineapple. We also love watermelon and peaches.
- Add soda water, preferably Topo Chico. Add a splash of tonic water if you enjoy this flavor.
- Add a preferred amount of Sister Stone CBD Oil.
- If feeling more like a Cocktail than a Mocktail, add a shot of your favorite. We like Vodka and Gin for this one.
- Lots of ice, mix and enjoy your CBD cocktails!
We recommend pairing with the outdoors, sunset hour, and some of your favorite music. Enjoy sisters!
Some moms might ask, can I mix CBD oil and alcohol?
Whether it is unwinding after a stressful day or heading out with girlfriends, a few drinks are a magnificent way to loosen. Yet, if you're taking CBD oil simultaneously, you might be concerned about both interacting and how that will certainly make you feel.
Taking both substances, you may think the balancing effects of CBD can restrict the impact of alcohol. Nevertheless, the reality is, we don't know precisely how the two interact because there is not enough scientific data.
Can you drink alcohol with CBD oil?
To recognize the consolidated impact of CBD oil and also alcohol, we first need to check out both substances individually. CBD has a far more subtle effect since it focuses on an interaction between the body's endocannabinoid system (ECS). This large regulative network expands from head to toe and is responsible for maintaining different organic systems. CBD has also been shown to engage with a variety of molecular targets outside the ECS.
The connection between CBD oil as well as alcohol has yet to be thoroughly studied. However, a handful of preclinical studies like the one done by The Journal of Psychopharmacology discovered a couple of distinctions between guinea pigs provided CBD and alcohol and guinea pigs that were given just alcohol. Based on the study, the alcohol impact was the same when consuming it together with CBD oil and without CBD oil. Regrettably, there isn't sufficient information to tell if cannabidiol can mitigate the risk of any unfavorable effects from consuming alcohol.
